Dalia Shilas is a Boston based photographer specializing in documentary style wedding and children photography.

Her European background in the arts, journalism and photography,
her respect and sense for tradition and classic style,
her ability to see and capture the moments,
her unobtrusive and friendly style makes Dalia a very distinctive and sought after photographer in the area.

Dalia holds a University degree in journalism from Vilnius, Lithuania, where she worked as a journalist for Lithuanian TV and Radio before she came to the US more then 16 years ago and started a photography business in this country.
Always craving for the perfection and knowledge and anticipating the necessity to get familiar with American style and tradition Dalia studied Portrait and Wedding Photography at the New England School of Photography in Boston.

Every Spring she studies at The New England Institute of Professional Photography and regularly attends professional photography seminars and workshops around the country to get the latest wedding photography trends and tips and the best portrait photography skills.

Dalia's passion for photography has flourished in her ten years of business. She successfully documented many beautiful celebrations and continues creating timeless portraits of the new families.

Dalia is a member of the following organizations:
Professional Photographers of America,
Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts.
